During the year      Preach twice and lead worship in the parish

The selection conference and the study day are held in the Portsmouth diocese. Each module involves 9 weekly group tutorials based on prescribed reading. Each module is assessed by a project and an essay. The group tutorials are often located in the home of the tutor- for 2 hours on a weekday evening. The residential weekends take place at Old Alresford – Friday 6.00 p.m. to Sunday Lunch time. The Reader Conference is held in Sandown IOW – Friday 6.00 p.m. to Sunday Lunch time.

The study day is held at Church House Winchester. The Church in History and the Ethics module are assessed by a project and an essay; the Liturgy and worship is assessed by two projects

During the year    Preach three or more times, lead worship and leading a home group in the parish

The study days are held at Church House Winchester. The Preaching module is assessed by sermons in church services; the Placement module is assessed by a report and the Teaching module is assessed by presentations. The placement involves an 8 week period with another church. The teaching module involves running a home group for 6 weekly sessions on the topic of “Faith and Daily Living”.
